As part of Cirrus’ campaign to raise awareness of the dangers noise poses to people’s hearing, health and wellbeing, we’re providing the knowledge, skills and expertise to help alleviate the issue of noise in the workplace.
Until the end of May, we’re offering two places on any of our training courses for only £299.
Last year, it was estimated that around 23,000 UK workers suffer from noise-related hearing loss, as a direct result of being exposed to high noise levels in the workplace. Not only does this include conditions like tinnitus, hyperacusis and cardio-vascular disease, but recent studies have shown a link between noise-induced hearing loss, and mental health conditions.
“our range of courses cover everything from product-specific training, to noise at work awareness and environmental noise workshops”
This Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s important to highlight this link, as by taking small steps in the workplace or in the environment, noise levels can be reduced and life-changing mental health conditions associated with them can be avoided.
Our range of courses cover everything from product-specific training, to noise at work awareness and environmental noise workshops. By lending us your ear for a few hours, we’ll help you protect other people’s for a lifetime, potentially saving them from life-changing conditions, both physically and mentally.
