Karlsruhe, July 2, 2019 – Palas® has strengthened the management and sales team as of July 2, 2019, with Dr. Daniel Auer as Managing Director and Chief Sales Officer.
Dr. Auer will be responsible for Finance, Marketing and Sales, while Dr.-Ing. Maximilian Weiß, Managing Director for many years, will be responsible for Development, Purchasing and Production.

Dr. Daniel Auer completed his double degree as Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in 2002, before gaining a doctorate in General Management and Financial Management. Dr. Auer was previously a member of the extended management board in various functions at the measurement technology manufacturer Testo SE & Co. KGaA. There he built up the new Thermography division and was responsible for the subsidiary in Great Britain and Ireland for three years. He was significantly involved in the change from a provider of portable measuring instruments to a global solution provider in the digital age.
