RSK Çevre Hizmetleri AŞ (RSK Turkey) is excited to announce that it is now a certified soil and groundwater consultancy accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation.
The process to become accredited, which took over a year, concluded on 31 July 2017, when the team received confirmation that they had passed the ministry’s inspection.
“This licence is solely given to companies with the capabilities to undertake environmental soil and groundwater assessments, remedial planning and related consultancy services,” explains RSK country manager Seçkin Türkcan. “We had to prove ourselves to the review commission by justifying our company work experience and our individual experience. We provided sample reports and work compilation documents and undertook a personal proficiency evaluation. Each individual within the team had to meet specific criteria.
“As the soil and groundwater regulation was introduced in 2015, the licence is now an obligatory requirement for undertaking any soil and groundwater related job in Turkey. Because Turkey did not have soil and groundwater regulations before 2015, we are one of only 22 consultancies with this accreditation and one of the most experienced consultancies in this area. RSK is delighted to bring this high-quality service to Turkey now that all regulatory requirements are in place. We aim to lead the market with our international and local expertise,” Seçkin concludes.
