As s::can GmbH happily announced last week, the company that is known for their innovative online water quality monitoring systems has been sold to Badger Meter, Inc. With the pending retirement of the company’s founder, Andreas Weingartner, s::can looked to partner with a leading organization with a shared innovative culture and commitment to environmental solutions. It was clear Badger Meter was the right fit.
An s::can management team, consisting of 4 experienced s::can managers, now takes over the agendas of the former owner and CEO. It is the vision of the new management together with Badger Meter to enter new markets and lead the company to further growth and success. Their goal is to be able to offer you even more powerful products and solutions in the future. Just as in the s::can logo with the four dots, these four represent different areas of expertise and experience.

In his new role as General Manager of s::can he is pleased to be opening the next chapter of this excellent company together with Badger Meter and thus to continue pursuing s::can’s vision.
