Due to their excellent material properties and multi-functionality, our laboratory bottles with GL45 thread are particularly well suited for applications where the highest demands are made on purity and sample integrity. This includes many working areas of ultra-trace analysis, such as the semiconductor industry, geochemistry, or environmental analysis. In industrial production, they are used for packaging, storage and shipping of high purity and aggressive acids or active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).
The fluoropolymer PFA is used for the production of the bottles – a high-end polymer, which is highly pure, acid-resistant, chemically inert, temperature-resistant (-200°C to +260°C), unbreakable and does not interact with biochemical substances.
In addition to the excellent material properties, the bottle has a standardised GL45 thread. This allows multifunctional and extremely flexible use with common GL45 adapters or screw caps. For example, GL45 adapters with integrated and freely movable manifold insert are available from AHF, allowing contamination- and loss-free introduction and removal of media or placement of probes or electrodes. The use of bottle-top dispensers is also possible. The bottles are available with a volume of 500mL and 1000mL.
