Building on existing innovative features, the updates simplify noise management by delivering:
- More accurate assessment of noise compliance
- Improved reporting and reduced workload with enriched alerting
- Enhanced automated post-processing functions
- Increased industry standards support
A new Disregard function decreases compliance management workload and reduces alert management tasks by enabling users to mark alerts caused by other noise sources. Disregarded alerts are easily excluded from reports and post-processing activities to create a clear picture of actual operational impact.
Reporting is more flexible with output files now able to be created in CSV format, which permits automation of specific post-processing and reporting tasks using Noise Sentinel data.
In addition, noise regulation standards support has been expanded, including complete fulfilment of the German “AVV-Baulärm” regulations for construction site noise monitoring.
“Noise Sentinel and Noise Sentinel – On Demand address the significant challenges acousticians face when monitoring noise, vibration, dust and air quality,” said Noise Sentinel Product Manager Doug Manvell. “The latest versions of the easy-to-use subscription services are ideal for noise consultants, public authorities and others working on projects that impact the environment.”
