Alphasense Strengthens US Sales Team with New Appointment to Drive Customer Interaction and Success
Essex, UK (January 2022) – Alphasense, the industry-leading manufacturer of sensors for air quality monitoring, gas detection and industrial applications, has appointed Blake Hasty as OEM Sales Manager for USA/Canada & Americas to enhance customer partnerships and drive collaboration with its OEM customers.


Based in Texas, USA, Blake will focus on working in partnership with OEMs to fully understand their applications and develop next-generation solutions to meet these needs. This approach will assist Alphasense’s OEM customers to deliver instruments and systems with sensor technologies that meet the specific needs of end-user applications.
Blake joins Alphasense with extensive experience gained with large companies in the petrochemical, refining and industrial safety sectors, as both an end user and equipment provider. In working for companies such as Dräger, and taking a hands-on approach to customer relationships, Blake has developed a deep understanding of the current needs and future challenges of the industries in which he specialises.
Commenting on the role, Blake said: “Being in the industry for almost 15 years, in roles from operations through to engineering, means I have a great understanding of the customer journey from start to finish. This allows me to fully appreciate the challenges that our customers and industry as a whole face, and to work with the team at Alphasense to develop solutions to meet these challenges.”
