As the leading international trade fair for analytics, laboratory technology and biotechnology, every two years analytica in Munich is the international mainstay of the laboratory sector. analytica 2018 will take place on the premises of the Messe München from 10-13 April.
The trade fair, the analytica conference, and a comprehensive supporting programme focus on current questions that are occupying the industry. More than 1,100 exhibitors will be presenting their marketready solutions and innovations from the areas of analytics and quality control, biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics and laboratory technology. The 32,000 visitors are mostly decision makers and users with great investment potential from the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, automotive and medical industries, as well as from industrial and public research.
Scientific dialogue and practical exchange of experience
The trade fair is accompanied by the international analytica conference and speeches by renowned researchers from all over the world. analytica’s supporting programme provides insight into the laboratory praxis: the focus in the forums is on current applications and market-ready products from the laboratory and analytical market. In addition, visitors can look forward to the live labs with lectures and product presentations. With experimental lectures, the special exhibition on occupational health and safety gives important advice on how to prevent fires and explosions in the laboratory. With the new forum Digital Transformation in Hall B2, analytica already gives all visitors a realistic glimpse into the future laboratory 4.0. During the theme day ‘Personalised Medicine’, experts from biotechnology, pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, associations and clusters discuss the current state and the future orientation of personalised medicine. Additional formats such as the finance day, the theme day personalised medicine, the analytica Job day or advanced training and education, offer the transfer of know-how at a high level.
