In the last few years, planning authorities have awarded a number of contracts to the private sector for setting up and operating Integrated Waste Management Facilities or waste recycling units. However, opportunities in the sector are still largely untapped. 3rd Annual Waste Management Middle East Forum scheduled to take place on 1 - 2 October 2012 in Abu Dhabi, UAE will identify the risks and prominent issues currently encountered by the private sector.
This event will focus on the activities - waste collection, transportation & handling capacity and e-waste causing environmental degradation. The objective is to make a world class waste management system to make environment much more eco-friendly and prohibit landfill disposal. The forum will witness senior governmental representatives and administrators share informative, presentations, enticing case studies as well as deliberate in panel discussions on e-waste in the Middle East, lack of waste treatment facilities, social issues with awareness and recycling waste and many other topics as well.
